Elders Voice endeavour to provide a range of activities to over-55s living in Brent, who want to meet new people, get fit or learn a new skill. Whilst our current offering is modest, we are actively searching for new funding opportunities that will enable us to reinstate old favourites such as the computer class or yoga. Stay tuned!

Zumba Gold

Wednesdays at 11am-12pm
Zumba Gold is a Latin dance & aerobics class which combines various dance moves including those from salsa, samba, mambo, cha cha and more, all to the sound of fabulously upbeat, Latin dance music. Zumba Gold was especially designed with older people in mind and is an excellent way to increase your muscle strength, improve your balance & flexibility and alleviate stress. It’s also really fun (we’ve yet to meet someone who hasn’t smiled or laughed at least once in a session!) and a great place to meet new people. This class is available online for £3.00 per session or onsite for £4.00 per session.

“Zumba makes me feel light and full of energy. It’s the highlight of my day on Wednesday and I hate when I have to miss it!” – Zumba Gold participant

Move to Health

The class can be danced seated in a chair or standing and is the perfect way to get fit, improve your strength, balance and coordination, whilst having fun! Delivered by DanceWest. Free to attend. Onsite only.

“Move to Health is a fun way to stay fit and feel more confident.” – Move to Health participant
