The Handyperson Service aims to prevent accidents in the home and enable older people to live safely and independently. The service carries out basic repairs and improvements, and the installation of small equipment such as grab rails, which support mobility. The team can also recommend other adaptations that may improve a client’s quality of life, health and wellbeing.

This service is part funded by Brent Council. The team will purchase materials for those who are house bound and do not have any other means of supplying the required materials. Clients will pay for materials used and a small labour cost, which ranges from £2.50 – £10 per job.
