Help make ageing a worthwhile journey for older people in Brent! As a local, independent charity we raise all our own funds and rely on the financial support of individuals, trusts, businesses and others to continue our work. Every donation makes a huge difference to the lives of the older people we work with, and we are extremely grateful to our donors.
How your donations help.
£5 per month could help us provide a weekly drop-in for older people who are feeling lonely and want to spend time with others. £10 per month could help us provide a weight training class, for older people to improve their physical fitness. £20 per month could help support our day centre for older people living with dementia, and vulnerable older people. £50 per month could help us provide vital handiwork in the homes of older people, and prevent life-altering accidents from happening.
One-off donations also make a huge difference.
One-off donations also make a huge difference and can help support community projects that address things like loneliness & isolation, cognitive decline in older people and the intergenerational divide.
£15 could help fund an intergenerational activities club where older people and younger people come together, take part in different activities and forge new friendships. £30 could help fund memory projects that enrich the present moment for older people living with dementia, slow cognitive decline and evoke precious memories. £100 could help us provide benefit support and help with filling in forms to older people who are housebound or vulnerable and therefore unable to access local services.
