The Accident Prevention Handyperson component of this service provides practical support to older people enabling them to live independently and safely at home. We can install smoke alarms, grab rails and other adaptations, locks, bolts, peepholes, curtain rails, blinds and help change lightbulbs. We offer a variety of other jobs including small carpentry and plumbing. Clients will pay for materials used and labour charges are means tested. The work is carried out by vetted handypersons at your convenience.
