Healthwatch Brent

Healthwatch Brent gives patients and users of health and social care services a powerful voice. The Health and Social Care Act 2012 lays out our responsibilities and our powers. The people and organisations who make decisions about your services must listen to us and respond to us – so your voice counts. We also actively engage local people in shaping services, offer information and signposting, write reports on patient experiences, and more.

ecoYoga

Scottish company ecoYoga has done something very special. Seona Elise Robinson, owner and director of ecoYoga has donated nine beautiful yoga mats to our organisation. These mats will be used by Elders Voice during weekly Yoga and Pilates classes. From now on, we will be able to welcome more senior students who want to practice but don’t own a mat. Please join us every week!

We are sending abundance of gratitude to ecoYoga – thank you Seona Elise, you are simply amazing.

Community Event

On January 19th 2016 Elders Voice hosted a local community event, where three organisations gathered together to work with older people and older people with dementia. Our guest of honour was Clive Silverman of Music Sounds for Pleasure. Sainsbury’s Kilburn provided us with refreshments and One Community handed out warm gifts to the elderly as a part of their Winter Warmth Campaign.
