Older & Prouder LGBT+ Project Manager
We have been awarded funding to deliver “Older & Prouder” – a new LGBT+ service for older people which will enable them to widen their social networks, make new friends, take part in social and leisure opportunities while learning new skills and learning from and sharing with each other. The service has been suspended due to unforeseen circumstances, and we are now looking for someone to work two and a half days a week for three months to get the service back on track.
Salary: £14,000 per annum
Hours: 17.5 hours per week
Contract: 3 months with the possibility of an extension
Responsible to: Chief Executive
You will have:
- 2 years’ experience of delivering LGBT+ services
- 2 years’ experience of outreach work
- An imaginative and creative approach to service delivery
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to work on your own and as part of a team

Freelance Minibus Driver
Elders Voice are looking for an experienced Freelance Minibus Driver to drive our clients to and from our Day Centre in Kensal Green.
Elders Voice is a charity supporting older people in the London Borough of Brent. We run three Day Centres a week for older people and older people with dementia. The Day Centres offer a warm and welcoming environment in which older people can take part in a variety of activities and enjoy a change of scenery. We are looking for a genuine and kind, Freelance Minibus Driver to drive our clients to our Day Centre in the morning and drop them home in the afternoon.
Hours: 15 hours per week; morning shift 9am-11.30am / afternoon shift 3.30-5.30/6pm
Days: Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays
Salary: £20 per hour (responsible for own taxes & NI)
Reporting to: Wellbeing Manager
- D1 category driving license
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of driving
- Genuine and kind
- Live locally
- MiDAS certified
- Experience of working with and supporting older people
