Fundraise

Fundraise

From cake sales and coffee mornings to sponsored walks and Zumbathons, there are plenty of ways you can fundraise for Elders Voice. If you’re looking for a personal challenge why not join Kensal Tri and represent Elders Voice at the Blenheim Palace Triathlon. You can enter on your own or take part with friends as a swimmer, runner or cyclist in the sprint relay. If sport isn’t really your thing, you could donate a prize or (bid on one!) at the Love Local Auction or host a dinner party and ask your friends to contribute what they would spend on a night out. The possibilities are endless, the most important thing is you have fun whilst doing it. Check out the other ways you can fundraise below.

Sign-up to the Brent Community Lottery and be in with a chance of winning £25,000! Tickets cost just £1 a week and each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance of winning. Choose Elders Voice as the charity you wish to support and we will receive 50% of the ticket sales. Brent Community Lottery also includes other incentives such as the chance of winning a year’s supply of fruit & veg boxes or a B&Q gift card worth £100. Click here and sign-up today.

easyfundraising is a brilliant fundraising platform for the shopaholics amongst us. Simply register your name and email address on their website, select Elders Voice as your charity of choice and start shopping! There are hundreds of retailers to choose from including Argos, M&S, Currys & Debenhams, and it’s the retailers that donate a percentage of your basket to Elders Voice. So no extra cost for you, just a little extra for us. Click here and sign-up today.

Whether you run an eBay shop or simply sell your unwanted household items, eBay for Charity enables you to donate all or part of the profits to a good cause. When listing your item, look for “Donate a portion to charity”, add Elders Voice and pick your donation percentage before finalising your listing. Items that benefit charity may sell faster! Donate 10% or more and your item will feature an attention-grabbing charity ribbon. Plus, you reduce your seller fees and enjoy tax savings. For more information, click here.

Fed up of receiving novelty mugs and scented candles on your birthday? Why not set-up a fundraiser on your Facebook page and ask your friends & family to donate to Elders Voice, instead of giving you presents on your next birthday or Christmas. Facebook does not charge fees for donations made to charities and if you are a UK taxpayer your donation could be eligible for Gift Aid. For more information, click here.
