The Accident Prevention Handyperson Service for small repairs in the home provides practical support to help older people and vulnerable client groups over the age of 18 to live independently and safely at home.

We can install smoke alarms, grab rails and other adaptations, locks, bolts, peepholes, curtain rails, blinds and help changing light bulbs . We also offer a variety of other jobs including small carpentry and plumbing.

Clients will pay for materials used and labour charges are means tested. The work is carried out by vetted handypersons at your convenience.

If you want to improve the safety and security of your home and reduce the risks of accidents, please get in touch with Louise Mackenzie, Accident Prevention Co-ordinator on 020 8206 7506 or email her at louisem@eldersvoice.org.uk
